Riverfront Park
Union Station Train Shed
Downtown
Montgomery, Alabama

HOURS:

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

ADMISSION:

FREE - No admission charge

SPONSORS:

City of Montgomery, Parks & Recreation Department and the Festival in the Park Association

EXHIBITORS:

We will have over 100 exhibitors, approximately 40 of them from the Montgomery area. Other exhibitors are from Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Mississippi and  other states.

EXHIBITS INCLUDE:

Paintings (oils, watercolors, acrylics, pen and ink), Graphics, Pottery (wheel thrown, stoneware, ceramics), Wood (furniture, clocks, carvings, toys, swings, folk art), items from Porcelain, Metals, Jewelry, Needlecraft (clothing, pillows, quilts), Dolls (stuffed, porcelain), Christmas items, Baskets, Stained glass, Photography, Plants, and Calligraphy. The festival is also once again hosting an exhibit of works from the young photographers at Booker T. Washington Magnet High School.

EXHIBIT AWARDS:

Up to $5,000 awarded for Best of Show, Award of Excellence. Best Display and First Place in designated categories.

FOR THIS YEAR:

"Go Nuts to Fight Domestic Abuse" Media Contest - All proceeds go to the Sunshine Center.

Young Artists' Gallery: A "Decorate the Festival In The Park Tree" Art Contest for the 3rdand 4th grade classes in the Montgomery County Schools. Work will be judged by the Festival panel of judges, ribbons awarded. Work will be on display during the Festival.

PROGRAM:

Performances on multiple stages, including the new Amphitheater. Special performances and activities for children. The Fire Department will display fire trucks near the Children's Area along with the Children's Safety House. They will also provide the First Aid coverage with a paramedic truck. The Police Department will provide a display by the Montgomery Crime Prevention Program and the K-9 dogs will perform in the Arena.

PARKING:

FREE parking throughout the downtown area

ENTRANCES:

Gates open at 9:00 am. Gates on Commerce Street, end of the Train Shed off Moulton Street, new Amphitheater off Coosa Street.

FOOD:

Food and drink will be available from concession stands located throughout the Park.
